Esta selección de barricas "Reserve" Cabernet Sauvignon exhibe aromas brillantes de frambuesa y cereza con notas de tabacco, vainilla y clavo. Este profundo Zinfandel de color púrpura magenta muestra aromas de canela, clavo de olor, tabacco y cerezas secas. El ramo se complementa con un paladar completo de sabores de corriente roja, frambuesa y fruta de hueso con un final brambly, salvia. Este vino multicapa y complejo es rico y lleno; una fina representación de Old Vine Zin del Valle del Río Ruso que tiene la cantidad justa de taninos para darle un excelente potencial de envejecimiento.

Notas de Cata: Aromas a madreselva, azahar, especias de roble claro y mineralidad de pizarra. Lush boca de manzana miel, pera asiática y una crema de vainilla que recuerda a helado de vainilla suave de alta calidad.

Vino muy aromatico a frutas rojas. En paladar frutoso y balanceado, algo intenso y duradero en el paladar. Bueno para acompanar carne de cerdo, res y pollo.

The 2016 Illustration is rich, sensual and so inviting. The Merlot-based Illustration is super-expressive right out of the gate. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, licorice and new leather build in a succulent, racy wine that will drink beautifully right out of the gate. Dollops of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon round out the blend. Vineyard sources include Stagecoach, Hudson, Star and Crocker Starr."

The 2016 Paramour shows all of the perfume and grace of Cabernet Franc, which drives the blend. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, raspberry jam and wildflowers all open up with time. Medium in body and full of character, the Paramour is terrific. A whole range of sweet floral and mineral notes punctuates the finish.

The 2016 Contrarian is a rich, explosive wine. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice, incense and cloves imbue this heady Cabernet with tons of depth, power and resonance. The 2018 Contrarian is a total knock-out and also one of the finest wines I have ever tasted from Blackbird."
